Homemade Pizza's

Pizza is definitely one of my favourite foods! This homemade pizza recipe is really fun to make and also delicious to eat!!

Ingredients

For the dough...
                                      350g strong white plain flour
7g sachet easy-blend yeast
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
225ml warm water

For the Sauce...
200g passata
1 clove of garlic,crushed
1 tsp dried oregano

Toppings...
(your choice)
Ham
Grated Cheese
Mozzarella
Pepperoni
Cherry Tomatoes
Sweetcorn
Chorizo

Recipe

   1. For the dough I used a Neven Maguire recipe because I think it's easy to make and tastes delicious! Place the flour, yeast and salt in a food processor fitted with a dough attachment (or a bowl and wooden spoon if you don't have a processor). Mix the oil and warm water in a jug. With the food processor running slowly pour the oil mixture through the feeder tube and mix until you have a soft stretchy dough. Knead for 5 minutes in the machine, or knead by hand for 10 minutes.

 2. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, rub the top with a little more oil and cover with a clean, damp tea towel. Set aside at room temperature for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

3. Preheat the oven to 220oC. Punch the dough down with a clenched fist. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead for  a couple of minutes until smooth, then cut in half and roll          each half out onto a lightly floured surface to 25cm in a circle   or rectangle shape.

4. For the sauce put all the ingredients into a pot and gently simmer until the garlic is cooked.

 5. Now its time to make your pizza! Spread your sauce onto your pizza base leaving about a 1cm border around the edge. This part is really up to you! Choose whatever toppings you would like( I have given some suggestions in the ingredients section at the top) and decorate your pizza. Then put your pizza in the oven to cook for 10-12 minutes.

6. Now cut your pizza into slices and enjoy!
